MS Authenticator setup

Question

Hi,

I am trying to setup MS authenticator on my new phone for work emails.
Going through the steps it works fine, but then it asks to input the code displayed on my authenticator app?

Then I tried on the web where I am signed in, but going to security settings for my account trying to add new method - it again asks for the authenticator app code.

This all trying to setup authenticator app on new phone
