Is it possible to change the refresh rate of the virtual system?

My virtual system in Azure running windows 10 Pro is capped at 32hz which is really annoying and kinda disruptive because it makes the system look laggy. I was unable to change this via the settings within Windows in the rig, is there even a way to change the refresh rate to 60hz to match my native display?

    Are you talking about GPU optimized virtual machine sizes (Nx-Series)?
    If so, as far as I know you have to install the corresponding needs to be installed on the vm.

    Maybe this will help:
    Frame rate is limited to 30 FPS in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 remote sessions

    @Andreas Baumgarten

    Yes this virtual machine has the NVIDIA GPU add on. System settings say the virtual PC is capped at 32Hz and so far i haven't found a way to make it 60hz
