In the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\160\Setup Bootstrap\Log, you find one folder per install attempt. We are mainly interested in the files Summary.txt and detail.txt.

Note: the number 160 depends on which version of SQL Server you are trying to install. 160 is for SQL 2022. For SQL 2019 it would be 150.

Hi @Suresh Bagada,

There is a known issue when installing sql server on win11, please troubleshoot follow by this doc: Troubleshoot errors related to system disk sector size greater than 4 KB.

If this does not work, please review the installation log file

and SQL Server ErrorLog for more details about the cause.
