Hi,
I have office2019 installed and I was working on changing preferred language for a user using office registry setting. I successfully did that by changing the value of the following key under HKCU
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\LanguageResources\PreferredEditingLanguage
However, these keys are not available for other users when checked in HKEY_USERS for the user profile for which I wanted to change the setting.
Am I missing anything here ?

In the question I have mentioned right path. I've re-confirmed that by creating one key manually and then saw that it reflected the setting which I wanted to change in the office for a particular user.
Also, I noticed that after changing the registry setting it is not reflecting without restarting( stop and start) the office application. Do you know if there is a way to reflect the registry setting without restarting office application ?

Can you please help in explaining on how to create a new instance and instance of what exactly ?
If you are saying I should stop and start office then I am not looking for that option. I need a way to reflect the setting without closing the office application.
