Hi!

My current environment has a skype for business server that also runs Azure Service Fabric Explorer 1. A Vulnerability Assessment suggests updating SFX1 to SFX2 would remove a vulnerability, I'm curious to know what issues I may face if I update SFX1 to SFX2 as I was told in-person that it may affect SFB frontend services.

Note: Running SFB 2019.

If you have any recommendations for best practices along with links for blogs that discuss something similar to this question, would be highly appreciated!

-Cheers and Happy 2024!

In general, upgrading from SFX1 to SFX2 should not affect the Skype for Business frontend services directly, as these services are separate from the Service Fabric Explorer. However, it's possible that the upgrade could cause some disruption or compatibility issues if there are dependencies or integrations between the two services. It's always a good idea to test any updates or upgrades in a non-production environment before implementing them in a live environment.
