Hi,

after I have upgraded my Windows 10 1803 Enterprose devices to 20H2 I cannot access Settings/Accounts anymore.
The Accounts window stays blank for a while and a pop-up comes up to tell me that my system will reboot within a minute.
When I check the event logs I always can find the following entry in the application log:

event id 1015
source wininit
A critical system process, C:\Windows\system32\lsass.exe, failed with status code c0000374. The machine must now be restarted.

I already tried with 20H2 19042.508 and 19042.610.
When I do an upgrade to Windows 2004 everything is fine.....

Any ideas?

Thank you,
best regards!

    Try the following:

    1. Go to device manager and select your NIC card. Select properties, then power management. Uncheck "allow computer to turn off this device to save power".
    2. Turn off PC fast startup in Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\System Settings
    3. Create a new account to check.

    Thank you for your answer!

I´m in the move to migrate several thousand devices from 1803 to 20H2 and actually I´m testing with virtual machines. So there is no power management option for the NIC.
And because the devices are hybrid joined I cannot easiliy create a new account.

    Thank you,
    best regards.
