Access Internet inside a Ubuntu Hyper-V image in w365 cloud pc

I am testing out creating an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS hyper-v VM and find that I am still unable to access Internet inside the VM after logging in. I have toggled using default switch/WSL Hyper-v FW and also enabled VLAN ID in the hyper-v settings, but still not able to access Internet as wired connection inside the VM shows as not connected. Any suggestions/solutions? Internet works perfect in my w365 cloud machine. IMG-20240102-WA0021

    Hi Vigneshwaran,

    Hope you're doing well.

Here are some suggestions that might help:

    1. Check your network settings: Ensure that the network adapter is connected to the correct virtual switch and that the virtual switch is connected to the correct physical adapter. You can also try removing the external switch in Hyper-V, restarting the host OS, and creating a new external switch for the adapter you want.
    2. Check your firewall settings: Make sure that the firewall settings on your host machine are not blocking the network traffic to your VM.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Best Regards,
