Access Internet inside a Ubuntu Hyper-V image in w365 cloud pc

I am testing out creating an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS hyper-v VM and find that I am still unable to access Internet inside the VM after logging in. I have toggled using default switch/WSL Hyper-v FW and also enabled VLAN ID in the hyper-v settings, but still not able to access Internet as wired connection inside the VM shows as not connected. Any suggestions/solutions? Internet works perfect in my w365 cloud machine. IMG-20240102-WA0021

I am using the default switch and the wired symbol inside Ubuntu VM shows as disconnected. Tried restarting host w365 OS and still same issue.
