"This is actually the expected behavior as it's currently not supported to move a member and their shifts from one group to another. See: Fill out a schedule in Shifts.

So for your scenario, you may have to manually remove the members from their original group after deleting shifts assigned to them, and then add the user to the new group."

As far as I know, if you remove someone from a Teams/Shifts group, it will remove the past shifts. There is currently no way to resolve this. As a workaround, you can export the shifts to Excel to preserve the data before removing the person from the group.

Meanwhile, to get this feature more quickly, we recommend you give the feedback in Teams UserVoice. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
