For the 100th time - how to do this properly? There is a hack floating around the internet where you needed to modify the registry key but it no longer seems to be working.

Please, don't say anything about the "new design" and "breaking things". On my other PC with triple screens due to some glitch with Nvidia Surround I got my windows taskbar on the top of the screen on my main screen and I had it running like that for several days. So Windows clearly can and able to do that.

How this is still an issue in 2024!? Unacceptable and very disappointing...

    Hi Anthony Pilkjaer,

Thank you for posting in the Q&A forum.

It is currently not allowed to move the taskbar to the top of the screen in Windows 11. You have to try some third party tool like

    https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher
