Azure Kubernetes Service is retiring v1.25.x on 14 January 2024. We’ve detected that one or more AKS clusters in your subscription(s) are using Kubernetes v1.25 or lower. To stay within supported versions and service-level agreements (SLA) you have up to 30 days after the version is removed to upgrade. To avoid ever falling out of support and to keep up with Kubernetes versions we recommend turning on auto-upgrade.

    To answer your question, Yes, the alert is a legitimate one.

    The k8s version 1.25 will reach End of Life Cycle on 14th Jan, 2024. And hence you should take the necessary action to upgrade within 30 days after the version is removed.
