How to enable external sharing option "anyone with the link" in SharePoint Server 2019

We have SharePoint 2019 on prem environment and we want to share files or folders with external users with help of option "Anyone" but this option is greyed out. So please let us know how we can enable it or it is not possible in SharePoint 2019 on prem environment.

Hi @sushma Kumari,

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not currently support this feature. My situation is the same as yours.

In fact, SharePoint Server focuses on collaboration within an organization, so it has greater restrictions on external sharing. SharePoint online, on the other hand, pays more attention to comprehensive collaboration. On the basis of ensuring information security, external sharing functions are relatively comprehensive. You can learn about SharePoint online and see if it is necessary to adjust the version or perform hybrid deployment according to the company's development needs.
