The issue appears to be related to Acronis. I found a relevant thread where a user experienced the same problem. Please check to see if it helps you resolve your issue.
If you are still having issues, I recommend creating a request with Acronis to further troubleshoot.
I am not being prompted to enroll a MOK for Acronis on a ubuntu VM
I have installed the Acronis cloud protect agent on a couple of Ubuntu 20.04 VMs that have secure boot enabled, so a machine operator key (MOK) needs to be installed upon rebooting of these VMs.
However, when connected via the Azure serial console and rebooting i am not prompted for the password, and the VMs boot as normal.
I have tried enabling the GRUB boot menu as detailed in a few guides, but again i am not being prompted with any sort of menu when they are rebooted
I have tried via Firefox, edge & using "az serial-console connect" from azure cli
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction ?

2024-01-04T16:17:21.1466667+00:00 Thanks for the quick response, The workload is registered correctly with Acronis cloud protect and the backup runs as long as secure boot is disabled, Acronis support believe that the issue is with azure virtulisation, which i think is correct as i can't access the GRUB boot menu either
