I want to study for the Microsoft Excel Specialist Associate certificate

Hello, I would like to study for the microsoft excel specialist exam as I have zero to no experience with excel but both Self-led and Instructor formats don't seem to be available. Has it been like this? How can I study for the excel certificate exam to be successful? is there a route that people usually follow?
