Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Android Mouse Issues

- I am using a Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 with Dex and the Microsoft RD Client. In the "Windowed Mode" diagram, the remote desktop (#1) fills the client frame (#2) and allows the user to click on the entire remote desktop as well as use the RD client menu (#3)... as expected. In "Full Screen Mode," the remote desktop (#1) fills the entire RD client area (#2) and the RD Client menu (#3) goes away unless you put the mouse at the very top of the screen. Then it appears again. That part works as intended. However, the remote desktop (#2) stops responding to mouse events in the region where the RD Client menu (#3) would have been. So you can't do things like click on the menu of desktop apps that are in full screen mode. I can see that the desktop mouse seemingly stops at where the bottom of the RD Client's menu bar (#3) would be if it was visible. Once past that point, I can see that the Dex mouse cursor appears and you can then move it to the top of the RD Client (#2) screen and get the RD Client menu (#3) to appear again. So I see two cursors, one where the desktop mouse stopped and the Dex mouse within the area where the RD Client menu would be if visible. The work around is to leave the RD Client in Windowed Mode so that the RD Client menu is always visible. Is there any way to fix this?
