Hiding username from multiple lines of text entry

I have an automated flow which takes inputs from one SP list and updates column entries for matching items in another SP list. I believe because i am the owner of the automated flow, it uses my name and not the person who inputs into the other list.

I can add the correct name in front of the list items in power automate (duplicate to my name) by creating variables, but i'm not sure how to remove my name. Is there a way to remove the person input name in SP list or power automate?

The name of the person you mentioned, does it appear in the Power automate running history, or in your updated SP list item?

what formula did you use that caused the names to appear? Can you provide some detailed screenshots? Thanks in advance for your patience and time.

It does not appear in the power automate run history (see below).

I am using a multiple lines of text field with append changes on so multiple entries from the other list can be entered into a single field. In a normal standalone SP, this would generate the name and time stamp by the person creating the entry.

In this case, my name always shows up even if another person is the author of the entry because my automated flow is taking the entries from one SP and re-entering them as a line of text in another. I think the reason my name shows up is because under "update Item" it is tied to my account and not the person creating the secondary sharepoint list item. I don't see a way to change the author in the "Update Item" type. My desire is to do this or to simply remove the name stamp from the sharepoint list entry.

Hi @Xyza Xue_MSFT , no resolution on the power automate community yet. Are you sure there is no way to remove to remove the display name/time stamp on a multiple lines of text column (with append changes to existing test on) on a sharepoint list? That would resolve my issue

Based on your description analysis, from SharePoint level, I don't think there is a way to remove the display name/timestamp on the multi-line text column. Because even if you manually remove it, the next time flow triggers, it will still appear. Which is unfortunate.
