Authenticator not working on iphone 15

Question

I recently bought a new iphone 15 pro and my MS Authenticator app is not authenticating. Every time I try to open Outlook it automatically sends me to the Authenticator app which produces the 2 digit code, and asks me to input the code into the Authenticator, but the code is already in the Authenticator app since it is the app creating the 2 digit code. I used to just get an "approve" button to click. Now, it's creating the code inside the app, and the app is not allowing me to enter it. When I click on "I can't access my Authenticator app, get a code a new way" It asks me to either scan a QR code inside the Auth App or enter a 6 digit code sent to the Auth app, but I'm not getting a QR code or a 6 digit code.
