Hello,

From Windows --> Settings --> add work or school account , we can always add our other AAD-accounts (enterprise accounts) and enjoy SSO

Along with that, we can also add consumer-accounts (MSA) from Windows --> Settings --> add Microsoft account

My question is, why would I bother to add such consumer-accounts (MSA) when I can NOT enjoy SSO to any service on browser ?? So what is the benefit of adding consumer-accounts (MSA) via Windows --> Settings --> add Microsoft account ?

let me re-phrase my question in case it is not clear.

I would like to know why the windows-account-extension that we use on Chrome-browser OR the corresponding built-in module on Edge (as we do not need any extension on edge) does NOT work with as expected on /consumers

Ideally the extension should be in action for login.microsoftonline.com/consumers too. And as a result the account-picker should come up with right accounts.

If app redirects to /consumers, then as expected the account-picker is NOT showing any AAD-accounts. However, account-picker is only showing me if any consumer-accounts (MSA) in the web-session.

On top of it I am also expecting to see the consumer accounts that I have added through settings --> add MS account

Any thought ?
