    Hello Gerd

Microsoft has released the official Windows 11 system requirements, and the requirements include a compatibility check for specific processors. The Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor, which is a seventh-generation CPU, is not listed in the initial list of supported processors for Windows 11. It's important to note that the list of supported processors for Windows 11 may evolve over time as Microsoft continues to test and validate additional hardware configurations. Microsoft has indicated that they will be actively working with their OEM partners to expand the list of supported processors. Therefore, while the current information may not include support for the Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor, it is possible that Microsoft may add support for it in the future.

    Hello

Here is the hardware and system requirements- for windows 11:

Windows 11 Specs and System Requirements | Microsoft

These are the minimum system requirements for installing Windows 11 on a PC. If you are unsure whether your PC meets these requirements, you can check with your PC Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or, if your device is already running Windows 10, you can use the PC Health Check app to assess compatibility.
