    Are Azure Reservations (Reserved Instances) considered CapEx or OpEx?

    Capital Expenditures or CapEx refers to up front infrastructure costs whereas Operational Expenditures refers to recurring costs.

    Traditionally Azure Reservations have been an up front cost (CapEx) however you can now pay monthly (OpEx) making this an either or answer depending on your preferred billing model.
