Laggy Word operation

My Word documents are very laggy when there are Excel diagrams/graphs embedded in them, which is disappointing because I always need to include EXCEL diagrams in the reports I prepare in WORD.

    Hi @Moones Rahmandoust ,

For this issue, we can perform a Online repair by below steps.

    1. Right-click the Start button (lower-left corner) and select Installed apps on the pop-up menu.
      Installed apps
    2. Select the Microsoft Office product you want to repair, click the ellipses, and select Modify
      Modify an app

Note: This will repair the entire Office suite even if it's just one application you want to repair such as Word or Excel. If you have a standalone app installed, then search for that application by name.

    1. Depends on your Office installation type (Click-to-run or MSI-based), you'll see the following options to proceed with the repair. Follow the steps for your installation type.
      • Click-to-run  In the window How would you like to repair your Office Programs, select Online Repair > Repair to make sure everything gets fixed. (The faster Quick Repair option is also available, but it only detects and then replaces corrupted files.)
        Install using click-to-run
        • MSI-based
In the __**Change your installation**__ window, select __**Repair**__ and then click __**Continue**__.

    2. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the repair.

    Thanks & regards,

    Hi @Moones Rahmandoust

Do you insert Excel Chart as an object and link to file in Word?

If so, does Excel have a large amount of data?

I suggest you run Word in Safe Mode for a check.

    • To do it, please hold on Ctrl key, click or double-click Word icon, until Word asks do you want to start it in safe mode, then please release Ctrl key and click "Yes".
    • If this issue does not occur with safe mode, you may go to File > Options > Add-ins > Manage COM Add-ins, click Go, clear the check boxes for any enabled COM add-ins, select OK.

Any updates, welcome to post back.
