Hello all, I am using Azure with Azure for Student Subscription. While I was trying to create elastic resource, it response me with below error:

SaaS Purchase Payment Check Failed as validationResponse was {"isEligible":false,"errorMessage":"Purchase has failed because we couldn't find a valid payment method associated with your Azure subscription. Please use a different Azure subscription or add\\update current payment method for this subscription and retry. Plan 'ess-consumption-2024' can not be purchased on a free subscription, please upgrade your account, see https://aka.ms/UpgradeFreeSub for more details."}

It seems like Azure for Student Subscription is not allowed to use this resource. Does anyone succeed to create Elastic resource by using Azure for Student Subscription? Thank you

    Hello @Meng Fei Wong Thank you for contacting us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!

    The error message you received indicates that the Azure for Student subscription is not eligible to purchase the elastic resource you are trying to create. This may be due to the fact that the elastic resource requires a paid subscription, or a valid payment method associated with the subscription.

    Azure for Student subscription is a free subscription that provides access to a limited set of Azure services for learning and experimentation purposes. It is possible that some Azure services, including the elastic resource you are trying to create, are not available with this subscription.

    To confirm whether the elastic resource is available with the Azure for Student subscription, you can check the Azure for Students FAQ page or contact Microsoft Azure Subscription Management Support for further assistance.

    If the elastic resource is not available with the Azure for Student subscription, you may want to consider upgrading to a paid subscription or using a different Azure subscription that is eligible to purchase the resource.

    FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge.
