after re-logon, edge windows do not open

Widows 11 pro, 23H2

Edge open at shut down and scrren sleep

after re-boot OR logon from screen sleep, all edge tabs come up with blank window, but the tab shows the URL. I X out and re-launch edge and then all tabs are active.

Why the blank tab window?

To narrow down the issue, please help check and try the followings:

Which version and channel of the Edge you are using? Also, please update it to the latest.

Has this issue happened before?

Check if other browsers (like Chrome) have the same issue.

Try using other networks (Home, mobile or Work).

Reset the Edge browser by going to "edge://settings/reset" to see if it works.

I don't want to do a reset now, I'd lose too much

Hi @John Lenz ,

You could try turning off the settings under System section on "edge://settings/system" page.
If the issue persists, try to repair Microsoft Edge by navigating to Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features>Right-click the Microsoft Edge>Repair.

You can try below methods to help fix edge tabs come up with blank window

Open the Search app by pressing the Windows logo key + S shortcut.

Type ‘troubleshoot’, Select Troubleshoot settings from the list of results. You will be taken to the Troubleshoot section of the Settings app.

Click on the Additional troubleshooters link under Recommended troubleshooting.

Navigate to Windows Store Apps and click Run the troubleshooter.

Open the Microsoft Edge browser and Select Settings /Reset settings section.

Click the > icon next to the Restore settings to their default values option.

Click Reset when prompted.

Edge continued to degrade in performance. I executed. System reset and it cleared the issues. Thanks
