Hi All,

I have Sharepoint 2019 with build version 16.0.10337.12109, and i have created some lists that require content approval and users are set in two groups one for content editors and one for content approvers. When an item is created or edited it became pending and only author and approver can see it. When approver approve item it displayed to author and all other read users normally, if approver rejects it only approver and item author can see it. all of this working normally the issue is when approver approve item and then rejects it when it's status is approved, the author can't see item anymore despite option is set for author and approver to see items if it's pending or rejected.

so is this a bug that was fixed in later version that what i have mentioned above or not
Note: content editors has custom permission level with contribute no delete.

Thanks for your help

    Hi @Abd Elfatah,

Thank you for posting in this community.

I tested and encountered the same problem as you on my side. The logic that this item displays is designed by SharePoint. Since we don't have an out-of-the-box solution for this issue, I suggest you open a ticket and ask.

Please accept my sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your kind understanding.
