Microsoft Authenticator - Multi Factor Authentication

Dear All,

Can 1 cellphone number be used for more than 1 computer device to authenticate using the Phone (Text) method?

I have 2 accounts for 2 computers. The first computer with account 'A' was authenticated with my cellphone number. Can I authenticate the second computer with account 'B' with the same cellphone number?

Yes, it is possible to use one cellphone number to authenticate multiple computer devices.

To set up the app on multiple devices, scan the QR code displayed on the first device, scan it on the second device as well. Verify that both apps generate the same code.

For the ease of work, Print the QR code on paper or to a file as a PDF. That way, if you ever need to set up the phone again, you'll have the secret that's shared with the server again.
