I want to send C2D messages to Azure IOT device

Using Visual studio code or Azure iot explorer i want to send C2D message. Now when i am trying to send message its giving error: [C2DMessage] AMQP Transport: Could not connect.
How to set protocol as MQTT and send C2D message ?

    You haven't mentioned which SDK you are using and what documentation you have followed for the steps.
    Please share the complete details/steps which led to this error message.
