to find the list of new AppGWs which would serve as a parallel setup to current SKU. The requirement is to sync the current & parallel setup exactly in same fashion including the settings and rules as well.
Match the following in both the Appgw instances (V1 vs V2) -

Backend settings
Http Settings
Probe
Listeners
Azure Application Gateway

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & hope you are doing well.
I'm not sure I understand your question correctly. Could you please provide additional details regarding your existing setup and requirement?
Do you have an Application gateway v1 SKU and would like to migrate to Application gateway v2 SKU?

2024-01-08T13:35:39.0966667+00:00 @Raviteja Nukaraju , your ask is still not very clear.
You can see all your configured rules in the Rules section of your Application gateway in Azure Portal and can see the details about each rule by clicking on the rulename as below:
You can also use Azure PowerShell to get the details of your Application gateway rule.

Gita

2024-02-01T13:11:38.1566667+00:00 To get all resource data in a subscription from the Azure portal, you can use the Azure Resource Graph Explorer or Azure PowerShell. Here are the steps for both methods:
Using Azure Resource Graph Explorer:
- Navigate to Azure Resource Graph Explorer:
- Open the Azure portal: https://portal.azure.com.
- In the left navigation pane, under "All services," find and select "Resource Graph Explorer."
- In the Azure Resource Graph Explorer, you can use Kusto Query Language (KQL) to write queries. Run a Query as below. Click on the "Run" button to execute the query.
Resources | project name, type, location, resourceGroup, subscriptionId
You will see a table with the results showing the name, type, location, resource group, and subscription ID of each resource. You can export the results to various formats like CSV or JSON.
Using Azure PowerShell:
Install and Connect to Azure PowerShell. Install Azure PowerShell if you haven't already. Or you can use the PowerShell in the Azure portal Cloud shell.
Install-Module -Name Az -AllowClobber -Scope CurrentUser
Connect to your Azure account.
Connect-AzAccount
Run the following PowerShell commands to get all resources in your subscription.
$subscriptionId = "your-subscription-id" $resources = Get-AzResource -SubscriptionId $subscriptionId
You can display the results in the console or export them to a file.
$resources | Format-Table -AutoSize # Display in console $resources | Export-Csv -Path "C:\path\to\export.csv" -NoTypeInformation # Export to CSV
Replace "your-subscription-id" with your actual subscription ID.
Choose the method that best fits your requirements. The Azure Resource Graph Explorer is more suitable for interactive exploration, while Azure PowerShell provides a programmatic way to automate tasks and export results.

2024-02-05T14:19:47.1133333+00:00 @Raviteja Nukaraju , I don't have expertise on Jenkins as it is an open-source automation server. But from Azure's perspective, you could either use the above-mentioned Azure Resource Graph Explorer or Azure PowerShell or you could use Azure CLI command "
az resource list
".Refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/resource?view=azure-cli-latest#az-resource-list
What do you generally use in your automation framework? Do you use any specific command line or scripting language?
