Hello guys, I've just created an Azure VM with Windows Server 2019 but it looks like it's having the 1809 version and I would like to have a minimum 1909 on my system, is this thing possible? If I enter on the Windows Update section I have the error ,,we couldn't connect to the update service", what can I do? I know that 1809 and 1909 are from different branches, but how can I switch them without losing data?

    Hi,

Thanks for your posting here and sharing the ISO approach in the Q&A.
As we know 1809 and 1909 are two different servicing channels, they cannot be upgraded in place, still there isn't method to switch between long term and semi-annual.

    I've found a solution:
    1)Register to insider program
    2) Download the latest insider iso
    3) Install the iso and enjoy the latest update :)
