Printer issues in Word only

I created a document with clip art. When I go to print, the brand new HP printer I have will not print the clip art if I go through Word. If I save as PDF, the clip art will print. When I copy it into Excel, the clip art will print. Yesterday, the clip art was printing in Word. Next day, I re-printed one of the documents, the clip art is now not printing. I tried more than one document and it is only the clip art that isn't printing.

Could this be a software issue. I checked with HP and they said it was a microsoft issue? Has anyone else had that problem?

I use Word 2013. My printer is an HP Envy 7800 (brand new 2 weeks ago).
