Excel spreadsheets were previously encrypted using a personal Microsoft email, but now they can be opened and viewed through Excel in Microsoft Office, prompting that your computer is being configured for Information Rights Management Afterwards, an error occurred and it was unable to access Microsoft's authentication server。

When clicking on the permission directly in Excel within the office on a Windows computer, a prompt will appear as shown in the figure. The correct option should be to enter a Microsoft username and password.

Could you please tell us which version of Office are you using now?

Please go to File > Account > Product Information, check the version name.

Then please sign out the account, log in to Office again using the Office 365 account provided by your organization, You may connect to the IRM permission management server deployed by the organization admin to obtain the corresponding permission options.
