How to use Remote Desktop to access Azure free VM

Dear team,

I am a new user, I just open a Azure free VM; but when i connect it by remote desktop, it show the cmd screen only. How i can access to windows to setup some program i need.

Please help to answer me.

    Hi Van Son,

    Based on your screenshot it appears you selected one of the Server Core images for your virtual machine. These images do not have Windows Desktop/Graphical User Interface (GUI). You need to create your virtual machine again, only this time select one of the Windows Server images that include GUI. You will likely want to delete the VM you previously created.

    For example, Windows Server 2019 Datacenter - x64 Gen 2, Windows Server 2022 Datacenter - x 64 Gen 2.

    Please note the Free tier VMs include a relatively small amount of RAM, and this may cause problems when using full windows GUI.
