I would like to create a hyperlink that I can put in an email that would allow folks in my organization to begin a 'Microsoft Teams' Chat with me. Imagine a Signature Line like.... Contact me on Microsoft Teams Chat for Immediate Assistance...... The best I can do is use: https://teams.microsoft.com/ That just gets the folks to the application. However, I would like a link that would put them into the Chat Tab and even better if it could automatically include my name in the 'To:' field. Essentially you can click on your Outlook email and get an mail ready to be composed back to you.
Can we do that with Microsoft Teams? By the way when you use: https://teams.microsoft.com/ on a mobile device browser, the phone does not know to open the app if you have it. That should be fixed.

    Hi @Stony Brook KG

Here’s the URL you’re looking for - just add your email address:

    https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=<your email address>

Please note, this allows other people to connect directly with you via a link jump. The same account is currently not available via link.
