Azure VM RAM Available memory suddenly reduced
We are facing issue with our VM for last 3 days. Suddenly the available memory got reduced and showing in hardware reserved. Resizing to higher RAM also did not help. Attaching the screen shot.
OS : Windows Server Datacenter 2016 64 Bit

2022-04-14T21:31:36.2+00:00 Had the same issue earlier after resizing an azure VM, all extra RAM that was added were tagged as Hardware reserved. Did multiple reboot but nothing happens. Same as above, I found out that Windows is seeing the OS is not licensed, what I did was go to Windows Settings -> Update & Security -> Activation -> Troubleshoot. It will run an automated troubleshoot and after a few seconds, OS is now showing as activated from the same Activation window. I rebooted the VM and RAM is now showing the correct size from Task Manager.
