Bug in BGInfo - Wrong background with correct text or wrong text on correct background

We have BGInfo being run for all users logging on to our RDS environment using a company background generating some custom info. All servers are virtual. RDS servers use FSLogix.

It works most of the time BUT some times BGInfo will:

  • not load the background image, but will instead generate the expected text on a black background
  • load the correct background image, but use the BGInfo default texts

Running BGInfo again clears it up - but whyyyyy does it fail?

Anyone have similar issues or any idea how to troubleshoot or raise this as a bug?
Or anyone know of a good BGInfo alternative?

Any help is much appreciated!

Best regards,
Nicolaj

Additional information
