Form recognizer is not reading text where logo is imprinted. We have a sample PDF with the logo imprinted, however on top of it we have item order details,

Hi Team, We have a PDF which has a logo imprinted in the middle, however we have item details and amount on top of it, in such cases form recognizer is not able to read the item details but only the logo. Can you please advise if there is any way for a better extraction of items? Thanks

Based on your description, it seems that providing Document Intelligence (DI) with more training data could help improve the accuracy of the extraction. You can try providing DI with sample PDFs that have similar layouts to your PDF, but few without the logo, and few with the logo, so that it can learn to extract the item details accurately. This can be done by using the custom model feature in DI. In addition, you can try adjusting the layout of the PDF to move the item details to a different location on the page, away from the logo. This can help document intelligence to better identify and extract the text. If neither of the above options work, it may be worth exploring external OCR tools that are better suited for your specific use case. I hope this information helps.

Hi @dupammi Please be informed that we tried extracting using a custom model also, but still the text in logo/or watermark is not extracted. Can you please let me know what is the best way to get support through call? Thanks
