I just set up a new Windows 11 Pro and installed Office 2021, but i cant get my EMail Notifications to work. The settings are completely greyed out: Screenshot 2024-01-12 081548

The windows settings are set to enable Alerts and Outlook notifications: Screenshot 2024-01-12 082145

EDIT: Seems like some old admin deactivated that part, can someone tell me where this option is located? Thank you!

    Hi @Philipp Rössler ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Based on my research, i found that when the following registries are deployed, those options in your image will be grayed out:

    User's image

Please open the registry editor and check if the related four registries are displayed.

    1. Select Start, select Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then select OK.
    2. Locate and then select the registry subkey: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\preferences
    3. If the registries are displayed, right click it and delete it one by one.

(Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before making changes, back up the registry to restore it in case something goes wrong.)

    Hope to help you!
