I just want my task bar to be at the top of my screen

I already know the answer, as I have to download a **** MOD to move it to the top of the screen. How **** do we get a new windows, but we don't have the same custom-ability that we've had from older generations. How do these people function? Literally, it's 2024 and we still have to use 3rd party apps to get a simple feature that has existed for decades. I really wish I invested time into learning Linux so I'd never have a stupid issue like this.
