Hello Is there a way to navigate OneNote in Windows 11 in the same way as in MacOS or OneNote for Windows 10 or OneNote Web? I have 10 notebooks, each with 20 sections, and it's very tedious to navigate through them by scrolling. I have already changed the tabs layout to vertical, but it doesn't help much. Other OneNote solutions allow you to easily select the right notebook and then choose sections within it, which is much more efficient. Is there a solution to this issue? Thanks.

Hello, not sure I understand - I believe Office Onenote desktop client = Onenote for Windows...its the same, there is no other app...is it? this is what I have: Microsoft® OneNote® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2312 Build 16.0.17126.20132) 64-bit but anyway - I will create new post as you suggested as well Thanks..

Microsoft® OneNote® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2312 Build 16.0.17126.20132) 64-bit If you have this version of OneNote, it is OneNote for Office. For more of different OneNote, please refer to "What's the difference between the OneNote versions?".
Based on my tests, if the Vertical Tabs layout is not helpful, it's best submit the feedback on it to Microsoft via clicking Help > Feedback. This way, you can help Microsoft engineers have a better visibility on what issues that you’re experiencing with Office product and which features are most important to you.
It's recommended to collapse the notebooks first to reduce the length of the list, and then go to find other notebooks.

@Jiajing Hua-MFST but collapsing all notebooks first is super painly - honestly, its the reason why I consider not using the application but rather switch to WEB gui...or migrate to MACOS :DD @EmlyLorienz not sure I understand - it seems like what I need, but "clicking on notebook icon" is not clear instruction for me. Please can you be more specific. On Mac Os its enough to click on Notebooks text above the notebooks "list"...but on windows there is no such GUI element.... @jhosyekamil ha..I see - this actually works with "Horizontal Tabs" layout...not sure why the same is not available for Vertical Tabs... With Horizontal Tabs there is a pain when the notebook has lots of sections and then the TABS do not scale well...:)
