Nuget packages prefixed Xamarin.Google.iOS.* and Xamarin.Firebase.iOS.* are built from this repository: https://github.com/xamarin/GoogleApisForiOSComponents The native libraries these bindings are built on are 2+ years old and are becoming unusable. They need to be updated to current Firebase / Google native library versions. The Github repo appears abandoned. Issues are not responded to and PRs are not reviewed. Is Microsoft still supporting these binding libraries?

Xamarin is a retired product, the repo’s are not likely to get any updates. You should switch your app to Maui. See retirement notice https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/platform/support/policy/xamarin
The package names contain the term Xamarin for legacy reasons. They're simply the iOS.NET bindings for common mobile Google/Firebase. They have no dependency on MAUI or Xamarin.
They are in the Xamarin repo which is retired and thus do not receive updates.
No, they're not. They're in the GoogleApisForiOSComponents repo, which lives alongside, for example, the AndroidX bindings repo, the xamarin-macios repo, the xamarin-android repo, etc. These are the native platform binding libraries on which modern .NET6+ (Android.NET, iOS.NET, MAUI) applications are built. They're all very active and supported, except that the GoogleApisForiOSComponents repo hasn't been updated recently and I'm trying to get a direct answer from Microsoft regarding its support policy for it.

By the way, these binding packages from google, if you want to use latest version, you can bind these libraries by yourself, this is a course about how to binding native libraries.
