cannot create vaulted backup for storage account (blob)

When creating backup policy for storage account (blob) using azure portal, it does not have Vaulted backup option, only operational backup is showing (in West Europe region). I did exactly the same procedure on another subscription, which vaulted backup is showing on second step. another thing I noticed is that when creating azure backup vault, I cannot enable immutable and soft delete (showing not selectable for tihs region, but again in another subscription, on exactlly the same region, vault can be configured immutable and soft delete.

Vaulted Backup option is available for Azure Blobs, so make sure to check if you have selected appropriate Data Source option within your azure back up policy. Also, I would suggest you check this document where support matrix of Azure Blobs backup is documented. If you are still facing the issue, do share screenshot of the issue to look into it further.
Kindly note that Immutable vault is available in all Azure public and US Government regions. Kindly share in which region were you getting the error as well as the screenshot.

- Backup storage redundancy: Locally-redundant

2024-02-16T10:11:50.8133333+00:00 @vhhjfkjg Can you please go to the backup vault and create backup policy and check if you have the vaulted backup option is enabled or not?
Also make sure to check if the BlobVaultedBackup preview feature is enabled on your subscription?
