Azure AFD Custom Domain Validation with TXT record spends 48+ hours in "Pending" state

Hi We have a custom domain "www.domain.com" for example. We add it to Azure Front Door and then click the pending... validation state link and add the TXT record to our domain. For some reason Azure just stays in a pending validation state forever. We also tried to add the TXT record after adding a CNAME record, then the redirect from our custom domain to Azure works but for some reason the TXT record still does not validate. Is their a solution to this? Is it normal for Azure to release incomplete products?

I understand that you added a custom domain to your Azure Front Door but the domain validation with TXT record is stuck in "Pending" state for more than 48 hours.
As per the below document, you can select Regenerate to refresh the TXT record then add the TXT record to your DNS provider again.
