Teams Call Notifications not working properly

Hi

Teams Voice has recently been launched and people across the organisation are now using it. Smartphones have now been distributed to all employees who have installed the Teams application. Recently, there has been a growing concern that calls often do not appear on the mobile device and that a notification only appears when a call is missed. Some people are also reporting that the ring tone does not appear when a call comes in.

Device information:
Device: Samsung A54
Teams version: 1416/1.0.0.2023229301/1215
Android version: 14
A UI: 6.0

The device is managed in intune. We allow notifications via our policies. The problem cannot be reproduced as the notifications often work, but we keep getting messages that they are not working frequently. Some people in our IT department have also experienced this problem. We suspect it is something to do with the app on the device. I think the settings should be correct (notifications are allowed both at Teams level and in the app options on the smartphone, battery saver is turned off, the necessary permissions for the app have been granted).

Does anyone have experience of this type of problem?
Another assumption would be the conditional access policy, which causes a session timeout after 90 days.
Could this maybe lead to the mentioned behaviour?

Best regards,
Fabian

Hi @Fabian_Haering According to our research, I found that there are users with this issue as well: Not getting Teams notifications on Samsung. I suspect there could be two reasons: on the one hand, it's possible that Teams is incompatible with Samsung phones, and on the other hand, Teams has an imperfect issue on the issue. You can send your feedback in Microsoft Teams, and then select Help at the bottom lower-left of Teams and then choose Suggest a feature or Give feedback to tell us what you think.

Meanwhile, to solve this issue/bug more quickly, we also recommend you give the feedback in Teams UserVoice and help us make improvements and build new products. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Thanks for your understanding and support!
