i want to convert some physical servers to hyper-v ,can you tell me how to do it? a online operation is supposed to be done without influence to product environment. thank you! duan

You can use the following free tools to convert a physical server to a Hyper-V virtual machine:

• Microsoft Disk2VHD https://aka.ms/disk2vhd. Creates a virtual disk file that can be attached to a virtual machine. The virtual machine needs to be created separately.
• StarWind V2V Converter https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwind-v2v-converter. It performs a single-click conversion directly into Hyper-V, so there is no need to do anything manually.
