Why is my Microsoft authenticator giving me 8 numbers instead of the 6 that is required?

I am unable to sign into Microsoft authenticator, because I am getting 8 number instead of the 6 that is required. Therefore, I have been unable to log onto MMIS to renew my agency. I am unable to bill due to this. Which is creating a financial strain to my small bus Screenshot Screenshotiness.
