Teams chat window pop out on Mac OS fails

We have discovered that in order to get the chat window pop out on Mac OS we have to un-install Teams and re-install it. Has anyone else come across the problem?

I have the most recent versions of Teams and I lost the chat device... very upsetting for press conferences I follow where everybody types the question in the chat window. how can I get it back ? mas OS 10.15.7 ans teams 1.3.00.33671
