I understand that you have applied for access and got approved. Few other customers are also facing the same issue.
Currently the Free subscription subscription plans are no longer allows for Azure OpenAI use regardless of gating email.
Our team is still working on getting this communicated to avoid any confusion and inconvenience.
Your subscription should be a pay-as-you-go account to ensure Azure OpenAI deployments are successful once your request is approved. Since you are using Free Trial subscription, please upgrade to pay-as-you-go and try.
Also, check Azure account requirements to get started to ensure Azure OpenAI deployments are successful once your request is approved.
After upgrading to Pay-as-you go subscription and still facing this issue do let me know.
