How to update SCCM CB from 2207 to the latest 2309

Dear Experts, In our production I would like to update our SCCM server from 2207 to 2309 CB version, what I noticed is that there are a few other version in between. So what are the correct steps to update to 2309? do we need to do it one version by another, or we can just update to 2309 directly? Another concern is, is there any backup plan available just in case any steps go wrong and we are able to roll back to the working 2207? we use one server for SCCM and we don't have any backup in prod.     Yes, we strongly recommend that you initiate a site backup before the upgrade. For more details, please refer to:

    We do not need to do it one version by another. Per my experience, SCCM version 2309 is available as an in-console update on sites that run version 2207 or later, so that you can just update SCCM from Version 2207 to the latest version 2309 directly. For more detailed steps, please refer to:
