Good evening, I purchased a version of Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021, installed it, and changed the CPU processor. Now, Office is telling me that the Office key is no longer valid.

    Hi @V LB

Is the Office you purchased under a volume license version or a retail version? Generally, the Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021 is volume licensed version of Office, it uses KMS or MAK activation method.

    • If you have a MAK key, it can usually activate corresponding versions of Office on multiple devices. You may uninstall Office and re-install it.

But if it is a retail version, please contact Microsoft support online or via phone for assistant, check whether the key works.

    • If your Office product key doesn’t work anymore, you should contact the seller.
    • If this key is valid, it is recommended that you uninstall Office from your computer, then re-install it from My Account page.

    Good morning.
The key is retail, I bought it more than 6 months ago, just like W11.

With the processor upgrade, I only had to connect to my Microsoft account, and everything worked perfectly in w11.

With Office, it no longer accepts your key because it says I made changes to the machine setup.
And if I try to enter the key I have, it says it can no longer be used because it has already been used once.

If the computer is exactly the same in every way except for the processor, I don't understand why this is happening. In the past, it was the motherboard change that caused this!
If the same motherboard was kept, there was no problem. The Microsoft support number for Portugal no longer works. It redirects to: help.microsoft.com, and on this link, I can't find anything that can help me.
