Does applocker work with windows 11 home and local admin/user accounts?

I have windows 11 home and I am trying to use Applocker. I am able to launch "Local Security Policy", and configure Applocker under "Application Control Policies". I am just trying to set some simple deny rules to prevent executables from running under individual user "Downloads" folders. I can create the rules, but they are not being enforced. I see the "Application Identity" service is set to "Manual (Trigger Start)". If I try to change this to "automatic", I get an "access is denied" error. Is Applocker supposed to work with windows 11 home, using local configuration? If not, will this work with windows 11 professional, or some other version of windows 11? Please answer my specific question. Please do not send me to some article that I have to try and interpret to get an answer. Thank you.

Hello, Thank you for posting in Q&A forum. Now AppLocker is only supported on Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise editions. Once you upgrade to Windows 11 Professional or Enterprise edition, you will be able to configure AppLocker using the Local Security Policy editor or Group Policy editor. I hope this answer can help you well. Best Regards, Hania Lian
