How to access approved OPEN AI services deployment?

I have been approved to use Chat GPT 4 with Vision and Dalle models on Microsoft Azure. However, when I try to deploy the models in the playground, I can't find an option for either model. What are the next steps I should take to access my approved deployment?

Once your access request is approved, you should create the resource in the supported region. . GPT4 Turbo with vision:- For GPT4 Turbo with vision, The Azure OpenAi Service resource must be in the SwitzerlandNorth, SwedenCentral, WestUS, or AustraliaEast Azure region.- Browse to Azure OpenAI Studio and sign in with the credentials associated with your Azure OpenAI resource. - Under Management select Deployments and Create a GPT-4 Turbo with Vision deployment by selecting model name: "gpt-4" and model version "vision-preview".- Under the Playground section select Chat.- See the below screenshot if that helps:

DALL-E 3:

For the DALL-E 3, An Azure OpenAI resource created in the SwedenCentral region.- Browse to Azure OpenAI Studio and sign in with the credentials associated with your Azure OpenAI resource.

From the Azure OpenAI Studio landing page, select DALL·E playground (Preview) to use the image generation APIs. Select Settings near the top of the page and confirm that the Deployment dropdown has your DALL-E 3 deployment selected.

@navba-MSFT I am having the same problem. I tried all those four regions, but none of the region has "vision-preview" available in the dropdown for me. For example, this is what I see in Australia East region:

BTW, I don't have problem creating DALL-E deployment in Sweden Central region. The problem is only about gpt-4 "vision-preview", and the problem exists for all those 4 regions. Any suggestion?

@James Hu Thanks for your reply. I have got an update that we don't have an ETA for Australia East availability. We'll be adding new regions and expanding existing ones over the next several months in response to demand. . In the meantime, I am checking why you were not able to create in the remaining 3 regions: Sweden Central, Switzerland North and West US. I will keep you posted about the progress.

@Ahmed Alaa @James Hu We have got a few customers reporting the same issue. So we have updated this in our documentation. See below:

The Product group is already involved and the investigation is in progress. I will keep you posted about this. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Hello, I have the same problem since yesterday, I had created a model but it started to bug me, so I removed it, when I wanted to make a new model, it was nowhere to be found.

@Ahmed Alaa @Nenad Kvocka @James Hu I have got an update from the Product Group that No new deployments are allowed for gpt4 turbo vision at this time. The team will be adding additional capacity in the future, but no ETA as of now. The same has been updated in below docs:

We will be updating the above documentation with the new updates. So that you can keep a track on this.

@Ahmed Alaa Apologies for the late reply. I have got an update from the Product Group.

We re-enabled "gpt-4 vision preview" in Sweden Central, West US and Japan East.

Switzerland North is way overloaded so we aren’t able to accept any more traffic at this time. I am still waiting for the status about Australia East region. I will keep you posted. .
