So last year I had an issue with malware but I got some accounts back and then I factory reset my pc a couple times. Now anytime I start up a game (Valorant) I get this file on my desktop which isn't even related to that game (its related to another) I have scanned my pc multiple times and I scanned the file with windows defender and malware bytes and they say that there isn't anything suspicious. The file also couldn't be deleted but I somehow got over that and left only with me for the permissions. I have no clue on what to do.

I have checked all of the different ways and it fortunately displayed only me. As for the weird file it ended with .jar .

JAR ,or Java Archive, is basically a ZIP program used for Java resources. You might have tried to download something which was written in Java. Try to perma-delete this file using 3rd party software. Also if the error still persists, please reply to this thread with the exact name of the JAR file. Be careful, as this type of file may be highly malicious.

I screenshotted some properties of the file I permanently deleted the file and also reinstalled the game and it came back. I also went to control panel under windows firewall and disabled some odd thing with numbers and there was something something java. As for the logs they wouldn't show up. If you need additional information just ask. As for the java I knew java was script so I didn't open or extract the file I was guessing that the person wants me to open it in java because if it was a legit file it would need java to start for it to add to the game .And thank you by the way for taking time and helping me.

You're welcome! Also if I'm not wrong, the file happens to be a pirated / 3rd party copy of a minecraft edition, 1.8.9, which can be said as it mentions optifine. It looks malicious, so I can say you made the right choice disabling it. You can also message me on discord (blank.t_xt) for further queries.

If Valorant has logging features, review the game's logs for any information related to the creation of files or unexpected behavior.
